Quantitative Data Analyst reporting to Chief Data Scientist or CIO Smartworks
Responsibilities:
- Develop metrics, dashboards by gathering data from various internal database/sources and present the trends in a dashboard.
- Improve data collection, analysis, and reporting. Collect, analyze, and report important key KPIs to specific departments.
- Analyze complex data to identify patterns, detect anomalies in data using machine learning & statistical tools.
- The data analyst will serve as a gatekeeper for our organizations data so stakeholders can understand data and use it to make strategic business decisions.
- Using statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
- Collaborating with programmers, engineers, and organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance.
- Interface between the company and all external data vendors and ensure internal teams are keeping the data live and clean.
- Designing and maintaining data systems and databases (includes code fix and debugging).
- Preparing reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
Requirements:
- In case of Masters’ Degree in Data Science/ Analytics, Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics or related quantitative fields with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- In case of Under graduation in any one of the above-mentioned disciplines with 3-4 years of experience in similar filed.
- Understanding of descriptive and inferential statistics.
- Technical Skills: Python, SQL, or R
- Dashboard: PowerBI or Tableau
- Microsoft Office: Advanced Excel
