Job Location: Mumbai (All Areas)

Job Responsibilities:

• Requirement Elicitation
• Be the subject matter expert for the customer requirements
• Participate in requirement gathering sessions and ask pertinent questions to gain deeper understanding of the customers business processes and systems
• Document all the functional and non-functional requirements with utmost clarity and granularity
• Create and maintain multiple documents like project scope document, business requirements document, functional specification document, project hand-off document, etc. on need basis
• Create and maintain requirement traceability matrix to manage the original scope as well as change requests
• Be responsible for clearly identifying the change requests and communicate with the teams (internal/external)
• Take full ownership of the requirements and act as Product Owner

• Team Communication
• Be the single point of contact for the team (internal/external) to understand the requirements
• Work with the Scrum Master to document (in detail) the requirements as user stories
• Work with the Scrum Master to prioritize the user stories (as per business priority) and create Sprints
• Communicate clearly and consistently with the team on the requirements
• Participate in daily standups meetings (internal/external)
• Provide feedback on the software developed in terms of quality and alignment with business requirements
• Demonstrate the developed software to the customer and incorporate their feedback
• Participate in UAT sessions and incorporate the feedback of business users
• Work with the customer and internal team to come up with a plan for software release

Must have:

• Minimum 05 years of experience in software / data engineering primarily in the role of a Business Analyst
• Should have background in BFSI with focus on core banking
• Should have worked on Big Data Engineering projects
• Should be familiar with Big Data Engineering and Cloud Computing concepts
• Should be able to navigate through a technical discussion and document it
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
• Strong systems level critical thinking skills
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills
• Strong technical and functional documentation skills
• Willingness to travel

Good to have:

• Technology awareness on Azure cloud, Apache Spark, Databricks, PowerBI, Machine Learning
