Job Location: Boston, MA
In a highly collaborative environment, the successful applicant will implement and develop various computational frameworks/analysis strategies for multiple ongoing and emerging genetics/genomics and multiple omics projects in Alzheimer’s disease especially linking genetic/genomic risk profiles to blood/brain omics and neuropathological profiles; directs the development and maintenance of analysis pipelines using multi-omics data from blood and brain, e.g., transcriptome, epigenome, proteome, and metabolome data; implement and evaluate genetic/genomics data analysis pipelines using genome-wide association and whole genome/exome sequencing data; keep track of datasets and documents related to analysis; responds to requests for analysis from faculty, postdocs, and collaborators; trains students, postdocs and faculty in pipeline use; tests and utilizes new software and tools, modifying them as needed to adapt to specific research needs.
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of experience. Master’s degree preferred.
