Job Location: Coimbatore
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
Ensure all metrics and other reports are published on time with accuracy in data
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing report
Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Achieve Turnaround with 100% quality. If errors are found during internal audit, perform root- cause analysis and provide a resolution to avoid occurrence of error.
Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Part take in Operational meetings and conduct process related trainings programs for team/site managers/decision makers.
Identify & build metrics which would help the business to perform better
Identify scope for automation & improvement of existing business reporting.
Be part of project team and/or lead projects with the stakeholders or individually which are strategic and drives business results.
Skills, knowledge & experience:
Proven working experience as a data analyst for 3+ years
Excellent communication skill
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development and data mining techniques
Experience using BI tools like (PowerPivot, MSBI, Tableau etc) to provide profound data visualizations.
Advance skills in MS excel
Knowledge and experience with reporting packages (QlikView, Business Objects etc.), databases (MS Access & SQL) and VBA programming are preferred
Knowledge of statistics and experience in using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Experience in Project Management & ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
Knowledge in supply chain & SAP is desirable
Candidates with experience in Six Sigma projects LEAN concepts are preferred
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Graduate / Post Graduate in any field. Specialization in MIS/ Data Analytics
will be an added advantage
Experience:
3 – 6yrs for industry experience
Experience in Chemicals / Pharma
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Candidate with MBA / PGDM would be preferred
Skills/Competencies:
Proficient in Excel, SQL, VBA & BI Tools
Well versed with SAP (ERP)
Strong follow up
Other Skills:
Communication Skills (Verbal, Written, Presentation), excellent command on English
Goal oriented
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Office – 95%
Travel – 5% (As per business need)
