Role Purpose

An IT Business Analyst is required to join our growing team who support Vodafone in delivering high profile internal and

customer facing projects and programmes

Experienced in a wide range of business analysis tools and techniques, your focus will be to:

• Effectively capture, document and manage business need (including shaping and scoping ideas, aligning to business strategy

and business goals, eliciting business requirements, and ensuring traceability of requirements throughout the project

lifecycle)

• Accurately assessing business architecture impact (including the impact of change on existing process, organisation and

technology, capturing and documenting new and updated business processes, business intelligence, data and information

modelling)

• Work closely with a range of senior stakeholders from both the business and technical teams, to ensure that we deliver

simply brilliant products and services to our customers, and cutting edge IT to our staff

Working within our IT Business Analysis team, you will lead the analysis effort on significant and often market leading

projects, through owning and facilitating the requirements process and providing analytical and commercial insight to drive

solutions.

A confident communicator with strong influencing and negotiation skills, you will be experienced in working up to senior

management level and have the ability to structure complex information and communicate in the most appropriate way to

the relevant stakeholders.

Essential § Excellent business process modelling experience including Business Process Design skills (ideally using EPC notation) § Proven experience of using a wide range of Business Analysis tools and techniques § Exceptional experience in Requirements Elicitation and Management § Excellent analytical skills § Confident inter-personal and communications skills § Ability to articulate complex information clearly and effectively. § Confident in questioning, influencing and challenging § Strong team working ethic § Driven self starter § Confident in facilitating large meetings and workshops § Great Stakeholder Management § Ability to make reasoned decisions Desired § Use case modelling experience § Ability to shape BSA activities for projects and carry out impact assessments § Able to analyse projects and provide various business options § Business/Enterprise Architecture experience § Commercial/Market awareness § Experience of end to end solution development
