As a member of our Infrastructure team, you will build data infrastructure, data pipeline and services to allow the teams to make data driven decisions, and ultimately put quality features into the hands of users. We emphasize tools over processes, automation over operation, metrics over anecdotes, iteration over perfection, and proactive over responsive.
Responsibilities
- Build data ingestion infrastructure to allow the teams to easily collect and transport data
- Build data processing infrastructure to allow the teams to gain insights and to make data-driven decisions
- Work cross-functionally to build data products that use by other engineering teams
- Design and implement solutions to ensure data quality, security and compliance
- Make informed decisions and taking ownership of services and applications
Requirements
- 1+ years of data engineering related development experience
- Flexible and adaptive in a fast-paced startup environment
- Passion for product quality and building systems to ship high quality releases
- Expertise in Python and SQL
- Experience with data workflows and data pipeline
Nice to have
- Experience with distributed data systems such as Spark, Presto, Hive etc.
- Experience in data visualization and dashboard design
