Power BI Developer

Experience Level: 2-6 Years

Relevant Experience: 1+ years in Power BI

Criteria’s:
– BE or Graduate in computer with masters
– Must have worked as full-fledged Power BI Developer in at least 1 project.
– Must be able to communicate well with overseas clients.
– Must have worked on Power BI that involves.
– Requirement gathering, data modeling, scripting, developing and testing dashboards.
– Strong Knowledge on Power BI to import data from various sources such as SQL Server, Azure SQL DB, SQL Server Analysis Services, MS Excel etc.
– Developing compelling and interactive analysis reports and dashboards.

Job Specification:

• Import data from SQL Server DB, Azure SQL DB to Power BI to generate reports.
• Worked on all types of transformations that are available in Power bi query editor.
• Generated computed tables in Power BI by using Dax.
• Created reports using time intelligence calculations and functions.
• Developing compelling and interactive analysis reports and dashboards
• Explore data in a variety of ways and across multiple visualizations
• Developing analysis reports and visualization using DAX functions like table function, aggregation function and
  iteration functions.
• Involved in creating new stored procedures and optimizing existing queries and stored procedures.
• Published Power BI Reports and Dashboards and made them available in Web clients and mobile apps
• Used Power BI Gateways to keep the dashboards and reports up to date.
• Scheduled Automatic refresh and scheduling refresh in power bi service.
• Should be able to work directly with clients to understand metrics to be developed, independently carry our
  metric analysis, data analysis, source the data from the source systems

Additional advantage:

• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Hands-on experience of ASP.Net/MVC combined with Power BI as a reporting solution
• Working knowledge of jQuery, CSS
