Roles and Responsibilities
- Design engaging and interactive business insights dashboards using Tableau
- Should possess the knowledge and expertise experience on data visualization best practices with a focus on enhancing user interaction and user experience
- Hands on with tableau desktop dashboard creation, report authoring and troubleshooting data source management
- Should possess knowledge on filters, parameters, actions, calculations, LOD complex calculations etc. for preparing interactive dashboards and to publish them on tableau server
- Knowledge on various graphs and charts for visualizations in tableau
- Have good knowledge in Hadoop Bigdata ecosystem
- Able to blend data to create powerful dashboards
- Should be familiar with various descriptive and predictive analytical techniques that can be built using tableau
- Should be familiar with data types, structure and understand data warehouse architecture and query techniques.
- Provide technical support and guidance for any production outrages and issues
- Perform quality assurance to assure data correctness
- Must have excellent communication skills and confidence to work across functionally with various teams and technical personnel to exchange ideas
- Must have excellent documentation skills to maintain work flows and dashboard functionalities
- Pro-active, Self driven and can manage time effectively with less supervision
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills
