Engineer reliable data pipelines for sourcing, processing, transforming, enriching and storing data in different ways, using data platform infrastructure effectively

• Work with ETL tools to ingest and transform data sets from a variety of data sources
• Be an advocate within the team to “do the right thing”
• Maintain an understanding of industry trends and how new technologies can be leveraged to meet business objectives
• Ensure that standards are adhered to
• Engage actively in Agile planning including story refinement, demos and retrospectives
• Continually look for ways to improve your own skills and experience

You’ll be part of Smart Insights under STAAT – Sales Technologies and Advance Analytics Teams group in Pune-India. We are developing cutting edge digital solutions to help internal and external clients make better decisions with data. Within Evidence Lab Innovations Technology, you will be part of a growing team that is focused on blending solutions covering digital marketing, technology, optimization and analytics to drive business results and digital transformation. You’ll be working in a global team, with colleagues in the United Kingdom, the United States and India.

Strong competence in SQL and database design with a solid understanding of data architectures (e.g. Databases, data lakes)

• Strong competence in Python or Scala

Good knowledge of the Linux environment

• Hands on experience with a cloud platform is essential, ideally within the Azure Data ecosystem
• Knowledge of Git version control
• Experience working with Agile development methodologies and ceremonies
