Are you an experienced Big Data BI software engineer looking for a challenging role where you can learn lots more? Are you experienced with processing and reporting on big data in cloud-based environments? Are you interested in full stack development and acceptance test driven development?

We are looking for a hands-on, experienced software engineer with strong skills on SCALA, SPARK, SPARK SQL and Databricks. Some experience with BI tools (preferably Power BI) would be big plus.

The role will be working in the Finance Technology Regulatory Reporting team, with the role based in Pune, India. The team is split across multiple locations including the US, UK, and India, with clients based in the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific regions.

4+ years of software development experience

2+ years hands-on Scala and Spark experience, while working on current/recent project(s)

excellent communication skills, able to communicate complex business or technical issues to a variety of audiences

excellent experience with test driven development using tools such as Junit and Mockito

good experience with continuous integration using tools such as Team City

good experience with “big data” technologies such as Azure, Databricks

good experience with Tools such as Toad, IntelliJ, GitHub

some experience working in a scrum / agile team

some experience with behavior driven development / acceptance test driven development, using tools such as Fitnesse, Cucumber

some experience with BI tools (preferably with Power BI) would be plus.
