• As a Data Engineer, you will bring together the right data and formulate the right information to be delivered to business at the right time.
• You will be part of the database design, ETL process and the overall data architecture supporting business functionality
• Build data flows, SQL scripts, data marts, dashboards/visualizations for technical implementation projects
• Interact with business teams to gather requirements and translate that to data models (logical and physical)
• Create source to target data mappings to support ongoing development
• Develop technical design document to define the flow of data and data standardization
• Establish and maintain database object naming standards, schemas, tables, columns, indexes
• Create data lake and warehouse architectures, as required for the technical project implementations
• Collaborate with DW Engineers to establish consistent architecture patterns to support development
• Interface with developers to translate SDLC documents into technical specifications and develop technical solutions
• You will design and develop data flows, data lakes, data warehouses, data visualizations using tools (such as Snowflake, Tableau, Denodo)
• You will develop various mappings from source to target systems (databases, flat files, JSON, XML, GraphQL) in different transport mechanisms (REST, SOAP, HTTP, FTP, SQL etc.)
• You will be involved in creating of testing framework and provide defect analysis and resolution for user acceptance testing.
• You will be responsible for creation of ETL or ELT type scripts for data ingestion and data movement

What we expect you bring to the table:

• Experienced Software Engineer/Developer with Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent degree
• 3+ years of experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Teradata etc.) and working on BI/DW projects
• Hands-on experience as ETL Developer as well as versed in data lake and data warehouse architectures
• Must have hands-on experience in SQL and PL/SQL
• Nice to have experience with BI tools (MicroStrategy, Tableau, PowerBI, Cognos, OBIEE etc.)
• Having knowledge of AWS, Snowflake, Java API, Rest/SOAP/XML, LDAP is a plus
• Eager to learn and ramp up quickly in new technologies
• Willing to go above and beyond from a solutions perspective by thinking outside the box
• Be Creative and Articulate in communications
• Experience working in cross-functional development environments.
• Strong Interest in AI/ML and Deep Learning algorithms
• Certifications is a big plus
