Job Location: Kochi/Cochin

We are looking for someone with 6 months -1 year of experience working with Django to join our product team as a backend developer. Someone who is highly motivated with an enthusiasm to learn new technologies and improve workflows through automation. Someone who can write clean, well documented and test-driven code. 

This is a full-time remote job. You will be working with frontend developers, designers,  product managers and other stakeholders to build robust and scalable web application backends.

Requirements

• Proficient in Django. Minimum 6 months of experience in working with Django REST Framework.
• Solid exposure of API integrations and familiarity with various design & architectural patterns.
• Proficient understanding of databases. Previous experience in working with Cassandra, Solr, ElasticSearch, GraphQL etc is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of caching techniques and utilities like Memcache / Redis.
• Sound in data structure and algorithm design.
• Good understanding of server-side templating languages such as Jinja
• Good understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Good understanding of accessibility and security compliance.
• Good at implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal guidance
• Effective verbal and written communications skills.
• Good documentation skills.
