About The Job

• Design, implement, and improve the Technology Analytics platform
• Implement and simplify alerting and logging in AWS
• Develop and improve the current architecture, emphasising datasecurity, data quality and timeliness, scalability, and extensibility
• Supervise data engineers in the team, implement the best coding practices
• Partner with other BI and analytics teams to build and verify hypotheses to improve the solution performance

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or 5+ years relevant experience
• Expert level skills writing and optimising SQL
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, experience in data mining, profiling, analysis, ETL
• Experience in AWS
• Good knowledge of Python
• Proven ability to develop unconventional solutions; Sees opportunities to innovate and leads the way
• Excellent verbal and written communication;
• Ability to work with shifting deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hive/Spark
• Experience with DBT and Snowflake
• Experience with building data pipelines and applications to stream and process datasets at low latencies.
• Authoritative in ETL optimisation, designing, coding, and tuning
