Roles and Responsibilities

• Support the Online Plant Analytics Department. Develop tools on MS Excel & VBA to simulate process parameters
• Create machine learning models to predict production/throughput based on the raw material quality and operating conditions
• Support the consultancy’s service offerings related to performance enhancement in the Process Industry using Online Big Data acquisition & analysis
• Demonstrating to clients performance enhancement in the Process Industry using Online Big Data acquisition & analysis
• Assess the effectiveness of data acquisition techniques/ protocols and the accuracy of acquired data.
• Mine & analyze data from Server databases to effect performance enhancement in a manufacturing environment by developing & applying customized data models and algorithms to data sets.
• Coordinate with cement industry domain experts to implement models and monitor performance outcomes.
• Use predictive modelling to estimate future outcomes due to changes in input conditions

Candidate Profile/Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts
• Application of tools such as Hadoop, R, Matlab, Python, SQL, SAS, SPSS, etc.
• Software coding in C, C++, Java, VB, etc
• Advanced machine learning algorithms including modelling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.

Qualifications :Graduation in Engineering, Computer Science or Statistics with Post-graduate qualifications in Data Science/ Analytics

Experience:2- 3 years experience in manipulating data sets and building statistical models
