KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liaise with the Product Management team to understand the requirements and produce functional specifications, jointly with the Product Development teams, for Strategic / Industry / Regulatory / Client based initiatives
- Participate in requirement discussion workshops and identify any gapstogether with high level proposals for their resolution (e.g. development,workarounds or changes in processes).
- Ensure any solutions proposed arerealistic and within the agreed scope of the Project
- Analyze Client business requirements, liaise with Client(s) / Projectteam(s) and produce Functional Specification Document for addressing therequirements.
- Be involved actively in the process till the sign-off isobtained from the client
- Participate in Solution design with Coding / Testing / Model Bank &Product Management teams to ensure the requirements are addressed.
- Ensure Requirement Traceability Matrix is updated to facilitate tracking ofrequirements coverage
- Participate in final User Acceptance Testing for all major developments in the domain, when required
- Assist in the production of various collaterals User guide, How to guides, Functions and Features documentation, process flows and other internal / external Training collaterals
- Assist in internal Training rollout
- Provide pre-sales through participation in demos / workshops
- Participate in Beta site support
- Contribute to the Product Roadmap by keeping track of Market Trends, RegulatoryEnvironment, competitive landscape, etc
- Mentor Junior Business Analysts / Consultants in the team
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- BE/Btec/MBA candidates with 3 to 7 years experience/understanding in Clearing/ Payment / Financial Accounting
- Knowledge of Asset Classification and Provisioning for BFSI sector
- Knowledge of any Accounting Software that covers above points is desirable
- Any White Paper or Strategy Paper published would be an added advantage
- Regulations concerning Customer & Customer Data Protection
- Basic Systems knowledge / Hands-on in respect of Customer, Account, Limit, Collateral and Payments including Direct Debit and Mandate functionalities
- Highlevel of analytical skills from following 3 perspectives
-Interpretation of Regulations / Market Trends
-Fitment of the Regulations / Market Trends to the Product
-Impact of proposed enhancement / modification on theexisting product - Pro-active& quick learner and ability to engagewith different stakeholders managing scope and expectations skillfully
- Prior experience in a Product Company, Bank IT and Banking domain is preferable and an added advantage
