Duties and Responsibilities

•       Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver solutions by leveraging the power of data
•       Design and develop scalable and performant backend services, deploy to cloud
•       Develop fault-tolerant and highly performant micro-services.
•       Able to independently handle high impact critical issues.
•       Actively participates in the agile practices and ceremonies for the team.
•       Able to independently learn & adopt new technologies & framework

Qualifications

• B.Tech. / B.E. / M.Tech. / M.S. in Computer Science or relevant discipline
• At least 10+ years of industry experience in design and development of distributed applications at scale
• Proficiency in data structures & algorithms
• Knowledge in opensource metadata frameworks like Apache Atlas, Datahub is a plus
• Good knowledge in Object Oriented Programming and experience in using appropriate design patterns
• Proficiency in one of the programming languages including Java & Scala is a must
• Experience in writing multi-thread applications with in-depth knowledge on concurrency & synchronization
• Experience in CI/CD environments and tools including Maven, Git, Jenkins
• Experience in building and deploying containerized applications. Preferably Docker, Kubernetes
• Hands on experience in building applications in any of the cloud. Azure Cloud is a plus
• Experience in building scalable applications by leveraging any of the distributed system frameworks – Spark, Hadoop, Storm, Flink
• In-depth knowledge of distributed databases, preferably Cassandra, Mongo, ElasticSearch/Solr
• Knowledge in database design and in-depth knowledge of any of the relational databases – Oracle/MSSQL/Postgres/DB2
• In-depth knowledge of any of the message streaming applications – Kafka/Rabbit MQ
• Good in any of the scripting languages- shell/awk/perl
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in any of the In Memory KV stores – Redis / Memcache is a plus
• Hands-on experience in writing complex sql queries. Preferably Hive, BigQuery
• Knowledge in any of the reporting tools. Preferably Tableau, PowerBI, Looker is a plus
• Contribution to an opensource project is a plus
• Experience in building Microservices at scale
• Should have excellent communication & presentation skills
• Experience in working closely with clients, understanding their requirements, design and implement quality solutions to meet their needs.
