Job Location: Gurgaon/Gurugram
We are scouting for Developer / Senior Developer – Big Data Analytics for one of our clients which is a global professional services provider, offering research, analytics, and data management services.
Job requires the person to work in a dynamic environment for various clients . The person will be responsible solve complex data-intensive business problems by leveraging specialized tools and techniques for data analysis and modeling.
– Should have experience in Data Engineering/ Data Management, ETL(customized and available tools).
– Good to have understanding of architecture design
– Data integration from multiple sources ( structured and un-structured data).
– Experience as a Developer / Senior Developer on big data platform with strong knowledge of SQL/advance SQL writing, shell script
– Cloud platform experience would be a big plus
– Knowledge of Different components of Hadoop Ecosystem – HDFS, Map Reduce, Hive, Kafka,Storm, Oozie, Sqoop.
– Need to have good communication skill to independently handle client calls and support team.
Desired Skills :
We are looking for candidates who fits in following :
– Strong experience on SQL/ Advance SQL/ Hive/ ETL.
– Strong experience with at least two of the following technologies Python, Scala, Spark
– Knowledge of technology like snowflake, shell scripting would be a plus
– Should have strong understanding of Hadoop architecture.
– Good to have understanding of version control and defect tracking tools like GIT HUB and JIRA respectively
– Good to have understanding of structured, semi structured and unstructured datasets.
– Should have worked on end to end solution development
– Need to have understanding of data pipeline building
– Experience and interest in Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Goole Platform
– Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
– Ability to develop new approaches to complex design problems
– Must be organized, have an eye for detail, and be able to put ideas into a tangible form
Education and experience :
– Graduate/ Post-graduate in Computer Science/Engineering from a reputed university
– 3-5 years of experience in data warehousing, data management.
