Requirements
Experience with the development and Implementation of MicroStrategy BI reporting
MicroStrategy Version 9x or above – including Desktop, Web, Report
Architect, Object Manager, Command Manager, Enterprise Manager, Integrity Manager
Experience in Microstrategy Web, Developer, Dashboard and Mobile
Hands-on experience in development of attributes, facts, dimensions, grids, documents, graphs and scorecard reporting using Microstrategy.
Strong knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts.
Experience with query optimization strategies for building reports
Understands system usage and potential bottlenecks
Advanced SQL skills
Responsibilities
MicroStrategy schema definition, design, implementation and maintenance
Performance tuning, testing, and troubleshooting of both new BI solutions
Analysis and interpretation of business requirements and translation into functional and technical requirement specifications
Assistance with project planning, estimating, approach definition
Support, design, build and test MicroStrategy objects, projects, reports, dashboards, cubes
Work closely with DBAs on data model or database changes required
Participate in after-hours support rotation
Exposure to other BI tools (Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, Cognos) a plus
Understanding of / Exposure to Data Management / DW a plus
