Job Location: New York, NY
We are a new AI Startup that is tackling an extremely interesting (and challenging) task: making ecological and social impact knowable, searchable, and predictable. We have a stellar team comprising people with industry leading expertise and skills in AI, ML, and NLP, and we are looking for a few data science interns who would like to spend a few months learning and growing as part of our team.
This position is part-time, remote, and unpaid (for now) – but opportunities abound if you stand out as we are on track to raise funding soon and will be expanding teams in due time.

What we would like to see in you
- Current or recent undergrad in data science, statistics, or a related field of study
- Some knowledge of NLP natural language processing techniques
- Programming experience with one or more of Python, Matlab, C++, Java, C#
- Good quantitative and analytical problem solving skills and independent research ability
- No knowledge of sustainability or finance needed
