Roles and Responsibilities
Role: Business Analyst would be involved in identifying complex fuzzy problems, breaking them down into smaller parts and implementing creative, data-driven solutions. You would be responsible for defining, tracking and improving key metrics and communicating business trends to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Define, measure and present metrics / reports on different programs to Senior Level Management. Design new metrics and enhance existing metrics to support the future state of business processes and ensure sustainability.
- Analyze and solve business problems with focus on understanding root causes and driving forward-looking opportunities.
- Perform statistical tests to establish trends, patterns, seasonality. Use data mining, model building, and other analytical techniques to develop models.
- Establish relationship between output metric and its drivers in order to identify critical drivers and control the critical drivers so as to achieve the desired value of output metric.
- Work closely with the business/product teams to enable data driven decision making.
- Track performance against plan, provide performance insights with detailed recovery actions for gaps
Desired Candidate Profile:
- MBA with 2+ Years of experience
- Expertise in SQL, Excel, other scripting languages (R/ Python, etc.)
- Good background in statistical modelling and experience with statistical tools such as R, Python, Spark, SAS or SPSS.
- Good to have : working experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview, Datastudio, etc)
