Job Location: Columbia, SC

This position is located in Replacement Member Management Information System Project (RMMIS), Richland County. The Business Analyst (BA) will work in an Agile Team environment supporting Product Owners and technical teams to facilitate delivery of data integration solutions. The BA will work with various internal teams including Agency Leadership, Project Directors/Project Managers, Technical Directors/Developers, Business and Technology Stakeholders/Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other Agency staff to gather and generate artifacts needed to support development efforts. The BA will monitor and curate Confluence artifacts for the Program. This role also supports the business operations of the Program, including tracking vendor relationships, licensing, contractor billing, and other assigned activities.

Collaborate with business units, technical teams, and other stakeholders to understand the business goals, objectives, and requirements of complex data integration solutions. Support Product Owners and technical teams by effectively communicating requirements and priorities in the form of written documents, diagrams, and verbal instruction.
Track vendor relationships, software licensing, contractor billing, and other assigned activities.
Monitor and curate Confluence artifacts for the Program.

Bachelor’s degree and experience in the following:

4 years experience working in a software development environment
2 years experience working with data integration and/or data mapping
1 year experience working in an Agile environment
1 year experience working with Jira and Confluence
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Additional Requirements:

Overtime and/or weekend work with Deputy approval.
Sitting or standing for long periods of time.
