Primary Purpose of Job:

Contribute to the ongoing growth of STANTEC ResourceNet Private India Ltd by providing technical support in water and wastewater engineering and pumping station design projects.

Support project managers/team leader by providing technical support to ensure that project outcomes in terms of budget, schedule, technical and quality standards, meet both the client and STANTEC expectations.

Key Accountabilities:

• Engineering and civil design for Water / Wastewater projects, Stormwater projects

• Outline design / Optioneering

• Detailed design

• Prepare technical reports

• Hydrology and working on hydraulics of Rising mains & Gravity Mains, stormwater management

• Design and layout of Pump stations

• Need to work off-hours for client co-ordination

• Need to travel offshore for training/on-site work: Occasionally

Key responsibilities

• Technically deliver the design of pumping stations, water, wastewater and stormwater systems including detailed engineering

• Work in collaboration with Discipline lead, Project lead, other discipline leads, engineers, and designers

• Ensure the use of consistent design standards and best practices on projects in line with the technical direction of the discipline

• Developing excellence by ensuring project efficiencies are achieved

• Ensure that the quality programs, appropriate design procedures and systems are followed

Title:

Civil Engineer

Qualifications:

• Professionally qualified Engineer, MEng or BEng (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering having experience in water/wastewater infrastructure projects, Sewerage reticulation, Water distribution, design of pump stations, cross-country pipelines, Stormwater management etc.

• 8-10 years of relevant experience on working Civil engineering projects

• At least 6 years of experience working on and managing Civil Engineering design projects. Experience of working for Middle East projects

• Working experience of CAD and Civil3D

• Excellent data presentation abilities (MS Office)

• Ability to work in collaborative multi-disciplinary engineering environment

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to make decisions independently and strong problem resolutions skills.

• Professionally accredited or working towards it (ICE UK/ CIWEM)
