Job Location: Missouri City, TX
Solstice Consulting Group is seeking a Contract Python Developer (4+ months) for an energy related client in Southwest Houston, TX.
APPLICANT MUST BE US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD ONLY
• 4+ month estimated contract – with scope for extension
• 4+ years’ experience with Python required
• PostgreSQL experience required – React & JavaScript experience a plus
Not looking for a data scientist or a devops developer. React and JavaScript experience will be handy for other projects in the plans.
You will need experience with Postgres, or another comparable database. Experience with SDLC and Agile environments is handy.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent working experience
• 4+ years’ experience with Python
• React and JavaScript experience a plus
• Experience working with Python and popular frameworks like Django/Flask/FastApi, and other front end & orchestration layers’ technologies: RESTful API, JavaScript, Typescript, HTML 5, and CSS
• 2+ Years of experience SQL database technologies – PostgreSQL, Snowflake
• Experience in unit testing and integration scripts
• Knowledge of Agile software development project methodologies preferred.
• Experience in technical documentation
HOURLY RATE UP TO $70 PER HOUR DOE (1099 BASIS)
