This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

• Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines

• Understanding of architecture and design across all systems

• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets

• Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices

• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals

• Passionate about building an innovative culture

• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages

• Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement

Required:

• B.S. or M.S. in computer science, information systems or engineering

• 8+ years of application development experience

• Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills

• Strong business analysis skills

• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology

• Strong OOPs skill – Scala, Java

• Strong with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Hive, HBase

• Strong in NoSQL Database and use in big data applications – Cassandra

• Familiar with development tools such as Git/Stash, Jenkins, SVN/Crucible/Jira etc.

• Experience working with cloud, micro services

• Familiar with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM, LEAN etc.

• Experience in Big data processing on public cloud- AWS, EMR, RDS.
