Roles and Responsibilities
Role : Technical Architect ( IT )
- Actively participate in activities of the organisation’s overall IT strategy and direction
- Should be playing a major role in IT projects – Act as a vital link between Implementation Team, Developers and System Analyst
Should Be able to :
- Analyse business requirements regarding applications, translate these, in accordance with architecture and security, into technical requirements, specifications, design solutions and applications
- Prepare and execute all activities in line with Organization rules, regulations, procedures, instructions, guidelines, and promote awareness, including addressing anomalies
- Advise on and control the implementation and/or embedding of new, enhancements and/or
modifications of applications, systems and/or solutions, as well as plan major changes
- Analyse the functioning and security of applications, within the assigned area, to ensure that performance is in line with the agreed performance indicators
- Ensure optimal functionality of IT databases, and their adherence to data integrity requirements
- Contribute to, participate and/or facilitate various projects in the organization
- Keep up to date with developments and expertise regarding the assigned domain. Improve team delivery accordingly and ensure development, transfer and retention of knowledge and information within the team
- Ensure proper documentation and/or coding conventions regarding applications is in place and also monitor delivery of this by third parties if applicable
Skills required :
- Good Knowledge of Software Applications Development lifecycle and ITIL Methodologies
- Good Understanding about various Programming languages and hardware platforms
- Good Understanding about Software Engineering, Object Oriented Analysis and Design, UML
- Good Understanding of Quality Standards, Legislation and Best Practice in the IT industry
- Anticipating and solving problems that might arise during an IT project and finding solutions
before they Go-Live and thus have a Smooth Implementation - Should Process Good Communication skills – adept at listening to, understanding and
explaining concepts to both managerial and technical colleagues - Should be able to understand and Evaluate New Technologies coming out from time to time

Candidate Desired Profile
- Qualification : BE / B Tech in Computer Science
- Experience : 6 to 8 Years in related area in any industry
