JOB DESCRIPTION
SGA is seeking a skilled, hands-on senior Data Engineer with strong Python coding skills , a good knowledge of AWS and Tableau dashboard development.As a Data Engineer, you will lead a new project to upgrade, build, optimize a new Data Warehouse / Data Lake combination and build new dashboards. As a senior member of the team, your role will encompass elements of independent project management to set and drive the project roadmap, project execution, and provision of technical leadership. You’ll be working in a technology-driven environment utilizing the latest tools and techniques such as Redshift, S3, Lambda
JOB REQUIREMENT
What you should have –
- Strong Data Engineering skills with experience in designing, building, and monitoring
- ETL pipelines (particularly Event-driven ones), Data Warehouses, and Data Lakes
- Must know in-and-out of functional programming in Python
- Must be able to convert, break, & distribute existing Python codes to functional programming syntax
- Must have worked on at least two real world projects in production on Python/PySpark
- Must have implemented complex mathematical logics through Pyton/PySpark at scale on parallel/distributed clusters
- Must have worked on high degree of performance tuning, optimisation, configuration, & scheduling in Python/PySpark
- Must have integrated APIs, streams, databases, files (JSON, XML, CSV etc) through Python/PySpark
- Good knowledge of AWS (Experience in AWS is highly recommended)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
