– The Developer with a good understanding of designing, developing and implementing complex dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Cognos
– The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction and rapid prototyping.

Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with Data Warehouse Implementation teams and Analysts for successful development of BI reporting and analytic solutions
– Strong experience on cubes & relational models and collaborate with Data engineers to reverse engineer them for creating curated layers for enabling self-serve
– Migrate Cognos report to Tableau/ Looker
– Recommend strategies to improve performance and capacity of BI tools
– Maintain accurate and complete technical documents
– Perform analyses to troubleshoot data issues with BI solutions.
– Adhere to BI standards, guidelines and best practices.
– Understanding of business strategy, able to provide consultative business analysis, and leverage technical skills to create insightful, effective reports, dashboards, visualizations, and analytics.
– 5+ years of dashboard and report development experience with Cognos 10 or 11
– Understanding of semantic layers and Cognos Framework Manager
– Prior experience with other Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Looker and Tableau is a plus
– Understanding of business strategy, able to provide consultative business analysis, and leverage technical skills to create insightful, effective reports, dashboards, visualizations, and analytics.
– Outstanding analytical skills with advanced knowledge of and experience with SQL
