Position Context
- The JR BUSINESS ANALYST – SALES APPLICATIONS is part of the ICT North America organization.
- The role reports to VP ICT North America
- We are looking for a Business Analyst for a one-year contract. He/she will have to do level 1 support and manage changes to a specific application used by Safilo sales force (about 250 sales reps).
Key Activities & Responsibilities
- Provide first level support to approximately 250 sales reps, answering questions and resolving problems. Troubleshoot software issues, logging problems and documenting fixes.
- Installation and configuration of software for the user’s iPads.
- Properly evaluate, prioritize, and escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support.
- Collect information from users and dispatch service requests to proper teams when required.
- Update support ticket data and enforce SLAs.
- Walk users through problem solving process.
- Follow up with users, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution.
- Ensure proper recording, documentation, and closure of tickets.
- Recommended procedure modifications and improvements.
- Support the business in performing training.
- Maintain relationships with internal local users as well as external vendors of the software maintenance
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree om Systems or Business Administration
- Basic understanding and interest in IT
- Strong analytical, communication and critical thinking skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently, is resourceful and is time sensitive in juggling multiple projects with various deadlines
- Administering user support
- Troubleshooting software related issues
- Experience with SAP is a plus
- Reporting status to management team
