Job Location: Bangalore/Bengaluru
We are looking to hire a Contributor Software Engineer in data and analytics team. The main role of Contributor Software Engineer is building code for data ingestion pipeline, data transformation and analytical software products. This role also requires developing the logical and physical data models to support the business needs. This role requires working closely with Sabre infrastructure engineers, platform engineers and admins, software engineers, product managers, architects and internal Sabre stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- We are looking for a candidate with 3+ years of experience in a Contributor Software Engineer role, who has attained a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field.
- The candidate must have experience using the following software/tools:
- Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
- Experience with GCP and/or AWS cloud services: DataProc, Dataflow, BigQuery, DataFusion VMs, Kubernetes
- Experience with stream-processing systems: Apache Beam, Storm, Spark-Streaming, etc.
- Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, Scala, etc.
- Experience with ETL tools: Talend, Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica
- Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Airflow, Luigi etc.
