Our company, RAAPID (www.raapid.ai) is actively looking for a Machine Learning Engineer with mandatory deep OCR software knowledge & hands-on experience of 3+ years.

Job Title : Machine Learning Engineer- OCR

Job Type : Full Time Employee

Department/Team : Research Team

Location : Anywhere in India, Temporary Work from home (location- Ahmedabad Preferred)

Key Responsibilities :

• Adapt best practices to design, prototype, and build OCR systems
• Ensure excellence in delivery to internal and external customers
• Drive the strategic and tactical roll-out of the OCR solution
• Accurately and efficiently utilize OCR software to provide accurate document processing
• Collect cleanse, and transform data with a focus on first time quality
• Develop best practices and create technical documentation
• Analyzing and testing developed modules
• Review, validate, and correct information extracted by the OCR system
• Extend capabilities by working closely with senior team members/experts both

within and outside of internal organization

Job Qualifications :

• 3+ years full time hands-on ML engineering experience
• In depth understanding of scaling and robustness issues in Image Processing/OCR, a strong software background and proven research record/papers
• Understanding of Image processing, DL/ML algorithms, Distributed Computing
• Strong programming skills, with linux/Unix scripting and Python, C/C++ or Java
• Hands on experience with various OCR solutions and image analytics.
• Instinctive knowledge of how people will want to use a product, service, or solution that solves a real world business problem

Nice to Have :

• Experience in the Healthcare industry
• Prior experience on OCR

Educational Background :

Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence

major is preferred

It’s a temporary WFH job opportunity; In near future, maybe post 5-8 months or so, employees have to report to office.
