Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and development of software product in Python
• Create test scripts and suites in Python to ensure test result criteria
• Develop automated test and test suite automation using Python, Robot framework
• Define and drive automated test strategies into the validation process.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• Hands-on experience in Python, in Python application programming and automation
• Familiarity and experience with PC architecture (BIOS, HW components, Firmware, Device Drivers).
• Expertise at System Software Automation Testing Tools/ Frameworks.
• Proven experience developing automated test systems using a scripting language.
• Write effective, scalable code. Expertise in test and debug of Python programs
• Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance
• Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture
• Understanding of accessibility, security compliance and data protection solutions

Desired Skills:

• Firmware automation testing experience and good experience in System Validation
• Should be familiar with BDD and having previous experience with test automation framework
• Proven understanding of white box, grey box and black box testing techniques
