Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with report writing and data analysis specifically with Tableau (Visualization and Non-Visualization) and any data prep tool
• Extensive experience in developing, maintaining and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics and working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture
• Proficiency in use of query and reporting analysis tools with solid understanding of SQL, rational databases, data modeling and (de)normalization
• Sets and adheres to coding and style guides to ensure consistency among dashboard and reports
• Experience with ETL of data through a BI Server, API, databases, or files
• Experience leading complex projects from inception through production support
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Description

Responsible for execution of the following:

• Work closely with key players to gather requirements to build new dashboards and reports
• Engage with clients as necessary to communicate changes or provide updates
• Stay on top of new technologies and tools, and adopt relevant ones to the team.
• Accountable for meeting assigned project objectives and timelines.
• Developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions.
• Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.
• Reviewing and improving existing systems and collaborating with teams to integrate new systems to ensure that it is properly structured and utilize engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot, identify and research reported issues, and have the ability to provide recommendations by comparing advantages and disadvantages of various solutions.
• Conducting tests and developing database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues.
• Assist with dashboard/report integrations into other applications
• Estimate and plan development work.

Education

• Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
