JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for translating business requirements into a solution, with Teamcenter as the PLM backbone.
- Support new projects and enhancement, with responsibility for delivery and technical leadership utilizing Teamcenter toolset.
- Take the lead on identifying potential solution alternatives, and validating solution options.
- Provide analytic support for workstream decisions related to content prioritization, implementation strategies, design options, and feasibility.
- Develop a strong knowledge of the Siemens Teamcenter PLM tools, with an emphasis on providing hands-on expertise to identify and validate solution alternatives.
- Previous experience with Teamcenter is mandatory and it is desirable to have a background in embedded software environment.
- Experience supporting or interacting with embedded software engineers and tools/processes that support them will be of particular importance.
- Performs investigations, feasibility, bench-marking and analytical studies on the business process and Teamcenter implementation alternatives
- Recommends requirements based on business need; negotiates trade-offs between competing requirements
- Captures requirements, documents use cases, develops test strategies and plans, and supports the VSEM delivery and roll-out strategies.
- Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of business requirements. Participates in User Acceptance Testing.
- Develops and delivers presentations, demonstrations, and prototypes to communicate an understanding of business, user and functional requirements
- Supports the program team, strategic supplier partners, and product supplier in the development of technical design.
