As a DevOps Engineer Senior or Lead on the Enterprise Monitoring Team, you’ll help us to deliver best in class monitoring capabilities and services to improve the maturity of our performance, availability and capacity planning processes for both the application and infrastructure areas. As an Agile delivery team member, you’ll provide our customers with the near real time observability needed to rapidly respond to events, while advancing Progressive’s monitoring capabilities. You’ll also assist in evaluating, designing and implementing software products to support our customer requirements, as well as perform research and development efforts pertaining to new features and capabilities.

This is a remote position for US based work only.

Must have qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an information technology discipline or related field of study (e.g., computer science, software engineering, telecommunication, math) and minimum of four years working with operating system hardware and/or software components in designing and scripting infrastructure solutions
• Instead of degree, minimum of six years related experience working with operating system hardware and/or software components in designing and scripting infrastructure solutions

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Splunk Products (Splunk Cloud and other Splunk Premium Applications); Splunk IT Service Intelligence is a plus
• Working knowledge of Cloud Solutions and experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with both Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and development using Python
• Exposure to CI/CD tool chains, such as Azure Devops, Git and YAML pipeline development
• Experience working in a Linux environment

Compensation

• $87,000-$129,000/year depending on the position level and experience
• Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
