As a Cloud DevOps Engineer Senior or Lead on our Cloud Platform within our Enterprise Hosting Solutions infrastructure organization, you’ll be an integral part in our developing area of Cloud Computing. Progressive’s Cloud technologies are focused on creating infrastructure solutions that empower the business to execute initiatives at improved speed and quality over conventional approaches. This position will have a heavy customer-centric focus, including more outward business-facing interactions than traditional back-office datacenter/technology positions.

This is a remote position for US based work only.

Must-have qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunication, Math) and minimum of four years working with operating system hardware and/or software components in designing and scripting infrastructure solutions.
• Instead of degree, minimum of six years related experience working with operating system hardware and/or software components in designing and scripting infrastructure solutions.

Preferred skills

• Experience designing, architecting, building and deploying cloud infrastructure solutions
• Strong working knowledge of AWS or Azure
• Exposure to CI/CD tool chains such as Jenkins, Ansible, GIT, and or Maven/Gradle
• Scripting and general software development knowledge (i.e. Linux Bash, PowerShell, HashiCorp Terraform and Packer, AWS Cloud Formation, Azure ARM, Microsoft TFS, JSON, and or YAML)
• Possess excellent verbal and written skills and consistently demonstrate the aptitude and passion to learn new skills

Compensation

• Salary: $88,000-$135,000/year depending on the position level and experience
• Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
