Core Responsibilities

• Sound knowledge of accounts payable process.
• Understand Oracle applications navigations of Projects, Accounts payable module.
• Verifying and ensuring correct accounting expense and tax related entries are flowing to the relevant Account GL.
• Correct application of applicable tax rates together with the other tax compliances
• Checking for various statutory requirements and various tax compliances at the time of validation
• Maintaining daily error log and on the basis of error log observations guiding team on improvement areas
• Ensure timely fresher training sessions for the team.
• Responsible for month end closing and various compliances
• Monitoring year-end balance confirmation reconciliations & coordination with vendors for closure of the same.
• Ability to liaise with internal / external teams and stakeholders
• Ensure successful delivery of the engagement and confirm the quality of service delivery
• Escalate bottlenecks to service delivery lead and drive timely resolution
• Ensuring shared services providing high quality transaction processing services that meet all compliance, quality and risk measures and ensuring that business rules have been adhered to.
• Implementing industry best practices
• SOP s maintenance and timely updating SOP s
• Knowledge of PO life cycle and have experience in tracking, Partial settlement and dealing with expiring PO s.
• Invoice Processing know how with knowledge of Invoice capturing in Oracle EMFI
• Experience in conducting payment-run for invoices and managing approval process.
• Have an extremely strong attention to detail, with the ability to easily spot errors, inconsistencies, and other issues

Education Level:
B.com / M.com / MBA Finance with strong accounting and communication skills,

Experience Level:

Approximately 5-7 years of experience in a Accounts Payable Shared Services environment.
