Job Description
Predera Technologies is a US based startup which is building AI and big data solutions for Healthcare, Finance and Retail clients. We are looking for creative and enthusiastic developers who will be working in a team of software engineers on challenging assignments.
The candidate will get an opportunity to work on some new challenging projects as well as maintain some existing systems. Company provides a fast-paced and challenging work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop applications, system to system interfaces and complete software solutions
- Work with development teams and product managers to translate requirements to architecture, design & implementations
- Apply best development practices to write well designed, maintainable, testable, scalable, and secure code.
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
- Build and administer development environments with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery capabilities
- Contribute best practices and improvements to development methodologies and processes
- Learn new skills as needed to work on big data and machine learning solutions
Requirements
- Strong Programming skills and a deep knowledge in Java, Python or Node.js
- Experience building mission-critical applications based on Micro services Architecture; distributed systems architecture; RESTful APIs & web development
- Designing and using REST APIs at scale
- Experience on integration using external third party libraries and APIs
- Expert in full stack development, design patterns, unit testing, debugging and POCs
- Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries (HTML/ CSS, JavaScript/Typescript, React/Angular)
- Good understanding of relational database systems: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL
- Working experience of Jenkins, CI/CD and Git
- Sharp analytical abilities and proven design skills
- Good communication skills and team player
Good to Have (A big plus):
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP
- Experience with infrastructure orchestration and/or infrastructure as code (Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Experience with open source data collection and processing technologies, e.g. Kafka, Spark, Hadoop
- Understanding of NoSQL and distributed databases like MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Cassandra or HBase
- Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and related protocols: OAuth, SAML, LDAP
- Experience with any machine learning toolkits (TensorFlow, Keras, etc)
