Job Opening for Cloud Data Architect with Indian Multinational Company
Cloud Architect- (1 senior for architect role and 1 junior for data engineering)
Architect Designation : SM
Data Engineer Designation : AM/M
Experience :
– 6+ years of cloud experience with 2-3 years of experience in architecture (preferable GCP)
– Must have implementation experience of building real-time streaming & batch data pipelines using GCP services
– Experience in using VMs, GCS, Dataflow, Dataproc, CloudSQL, BigTable, Cloud Composer, GKE, Docker
Education :
– BE/BTech/Msc/MCA/MTech
Skillset :
– Deep experience working with structured & unstructured data on GCP environment including cleaning /transforming /cataloging/mapping of data
– Experience of building real-time streaming & batch data pipelines
– Experience in setting up Data Lake; exposure to data model design
– Good understanding of GCP services; hands on experience in GCP Managed & serverless components (Dataflow, DataProc, CloudSQL, BigQuery, DataFusion, Cloud Composer)
– Experience in building pipelines to ingest data from on-premise sources (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, API-based, files)
– Experience in running workloads on GKEs; have knowledge on containerization of applications using Docker
– Excellent knowledge of Python; excellent ability in writing and tuning SQL queries
– Has experience of working on open source DB (PostgreSQL), datawarehouse (BigQuery), RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server);
– Exposure to reporting and visualisation tools (PowerBI, Looker)
– Exposure to big data workflows and analytics tools (Spark, AI Platform)
– Knowledge of AWS services is an added advantage
– Understanding of ETL tools (preferably Informatica)
– Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment and be a self-starter .Good team player
– Strong bias towards action and results
