Praan is a VC-funded deep-tech startup based out of San Francisco & Mumbai (also setting up an office in Bangalore). Last summer, we had 90 interns from 70 cities around the world participate in our remote intern program – many of whom were onboarded as full-time employees or got into preferred jobs/grad schools of their choice. Praan builds the world’s most advanced large space air purification systems with applications across industries. We are fortunate to have recently raised a round of funding from Peter Thiel and Marc Anddressen-backed Social Impact Capital, with participation from Better Capital, Aera VC, Paradigm Shift Capital, Avaana Capital, Sequoia Scouts, and other angels around the world. We are proud to manufacture our products in India.

About The Internship
Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Optimise air flow through different product chambers and test setups
- Simulate injected particulates across different wind and cluster conditions
- Simulate structural loads on different products against elemental conditions
- Generate feasibility reports and work alongside mechanical design engineers on design improvements
- Recommend manufacturing improvements to operations and manufacturing engineers for improved fluid flow and structural strength
- Simulate client sites through real-world data
