Responsibilities : –
This position will assist for preparing the schedules required by financial due diligence team in United States. The candidate will be responsible for preparing various schedules in a format desired by the team in India and/or United States. These schedules include
- Income statement and balance sheet schedules using trial balances
- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable aging schedules
- Cash testing schedule
- Practice management schedules
- Sales by customer, product etc.
- Other schedules as required by the team
Desired profile of the candidate : –
- Understanding of basic accounting principles (U.S. GAAP). Such skills are needed to map the trial balance accounts and potentially identify anomalies in trial balance accounts i.e. inconsistent accounting.
- Candidate should have strong knowledge of Excel Utility
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Outstanding time management and organization skills
- Effective at prioritizing and handling multiple tasks
- Superior attention to detail and conscientious quality of work product
- Think analytically to respond to complex inquiries
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
Education : –
Bachelors’ or Masters’ Degree in Accounting, or related field,
- IPCC/PE II cleared and /or MBA Finance would be preferred.
- Two years+ post-qualification experience with demonstrated knowledge of working in a similar function
