Detailed Description
- Collate data from directional drilling and MWD operations sources
- Report data issues and errors back to data owners and assist in mediation
- Become proficient in directional drilling data analysis processes
- Run several internal proprietary and third-party software packages
- Assist in curating data for daily operations reporting
- Assist in curating data for client performance reviews
- Assist in the analytics documentation and training material development
- Provide input on current and future data systems
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Proficient computer skills in MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with department representatives and management, both verbally and in writing
- Able to work effectively with others in a team-based environment to accomplish company goals
- Proficient with accuracy and attention to details
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of experience with Directional Drilling or other oilfield related Operations data set
- Some exposure to scripting with SQL, Matlab, or Python
- Technical, Associates, or bachelor’s degree in related field of study
Additional Details:
- Work is primarily in a climate controlled/office environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, or walk with occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending and frequent near vision use for reading and use of computer, telephone and other office equipment.
