Orion Solutions has been engaged to find a hands-on Senior Analyst that has experience in financial reporting and consolidations.

Our client is a leader within the logistics industry and is looking for someone driven, has a high degree of logical thinking skills and communication skills, and can multi-task. The role is perfect for someone who thrives on using their technical skills to extract data and use high analytical skills to make business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop the company’s external consolidated financial statements.
• Create and build out internal financial statement reporting packages.
• Assist in the monthly actuals reporting processes including variance analysis and explanations.
• Report and analyze financial results via data analysis, including key trends, and variance analysis.
• Review and analyze the companies inter/intra company balances and transactions.
• Perform various monthly consolidating/accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes preparing and reviewing trial balances, journal entries, accruals, account and bank reconciliations, and financial statement analysis in compliance with GAAP.
• Ensure in accurate and complete trial balance submissions from international entities not currently integrated within global general ledger system.
• Work and assist with the various accounting functions to drive process improvements, implement accounting policies, and ensure in complete and accurate financials
• Work closely with Accounting and Field Finance teams on month end related activities
• Support merger and acquisition analysis and integration as necessary

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years of Accounting experience.
• Prior experience in warehousing and/or logistics/transportation industry (not required).
• Strong analytical skills.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Workday and Adaptive Insights experience preferred.
• Self motivated and detail-oriented.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish work.
• CPA license is a plus
