Data Engineer with strong experience in Phyton and SQL
- 5+ years of experience in a variety of business environments and projects
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling and process flow
- Proficiency with a variety of data management tools and technologies, including Hadoop and related tools, data visualization and data extraction and transformation tools.
- Ability to create and maintain data standards and governance – Strong knowledge of SQL and Python technologies
- Writing effective, scalable code, developing back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance, Integrating user-facing elements into applications
- Experience implementing complex ETL and data extraction projects from scratch Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (like Django, Flask or Pyramid)
- Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (like JavaScript and HTML5)
- Thorough knowledge of data security, privacy and compliance regulations
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet demanding deadlines
- Extensive understanding of data systems
