The Opportunity:

We are seeking a talented developer who is a self-starter and capable of learning new technologies quickly. The successful candidate will work closely with our internal teams and will be responsible for both new Application development and maintenance support of code customization on top of our OpenText Magellan and OpenText Appworks related technology stack.

This position involves being part of a dynamic team environment responsible for designing, developing, and supporting software solutions to meet business requirements of OpenText while improving ones own technical skillset and growing in their career.

You are great at:

• Engage with business users and corresponding IT application teams for requirements gathering and design discussions.
• Translate business requirements into functional/technical requirements working within the framework of the tools available.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our DEV, QA/UAT, and PROD environments
• Develop solutions to meet the business requirements while meeting time and cost constraints
• Adhere to SDLC standards and Change Management processes

What it Takes:

• Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of education and equivalent experience
• 3 + years of JAVA and WEB application development experience
• Must have strong Database knowledge. Ability to write complex SQL queries along with writing/understanding of SQL Stored Procedures is a must.
• Good Knowledge and experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Good Data-Analytical skills along with good problem solving and trouble-shooting skills.
• Experience on any BI reporting tools like OpenText Magellan iHub, BIRT, Tableau is an added advantage
• Nice to have Knowledge on Web servers (TomEE, /Tomcat), Deployment, Logs/Audits.
• Knowledge on other technologies like Webservices, XML, BPM is a nice to have.
• Self-motivated individual with ability to work in a multi-tasking, changing environment
• Quick learner who is willing to adapt and implement solutions on OpenText technology stack.
