Job Location: Chennai

Position Description :

• This role is for experienced Data Engineer that embraces Lean Agile and Extreme Programming practices. Data engineers will work in small, cross-functional teams. They will collaborate directly and continuously with product managers, designers, and product owners to release early and often.
• Follow the paired development model with agile practices to deliver on user stories
• Work with data scientists and data engineers to support data acquisition activities, data solution ideation, and implementation
• Work with technical and business leads to transfer global business requirements into sound solutions and implementation
• Share support responsibilities for implemented components
• Degree Type Computer Science or Equivalent

Technical Skills Required

• 5+ years of Proven experience with Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Pig, MapReduce, HDFS, Oozie, HBase and data loading tools like Flume, Sqoop
• 5+ years of experience in Oracle or SQL Server.
• Solid understanding and experience with BI tools, such as Data Stage, Informatica, QlikView, Tableau, etc would be an added advantage.
