Description:
Development Sciences Informatics is looking for a talented individual with experiences as a scientific business analyst, a product management mindset, and an understanding of informatics systems for scientific data management. This individual would document detailed current and future-state data and scientific business processes based on the the high level informatics strategy for the Safety Assessment group.
- Identify gaps in business process and data management and recommend potential improvements
- Gather and document current business and data processes, needs and gaps;
- Gather, document, and communicate business requirements to the technical team members
- Synthesize the business requirements across different informatics efforts supporting various group within Safety Assessment creating process and data interoperability schematics
- Experience with preclinical data in one or more of the following domains: toxicology, pathology, in vivo and in vitro with emphasis on in vitro
Requirements:
- Experience with preclinical safety data (toxicology, pathology, invivo and invitro)
- Experience with a variety of in vitro assay types
- Expertise creating business and data flows using Lucidchart or similar diagramming software
- Experience with JIRA application and requirements capture in story format.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- 7+ years of experience as a business analyst in pharmaceutical or biotech informatics industry.
