Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead complex projects by designing elegant, maintainable and scalable architectures while ensuring high coding standards and quality codebase.
- Take complete ownership of the projects that you are responsible for.
- Do system designing for the projects.
- Ensure the quality delivery of projects.
- Lead by example, mentor, and guide team members on everything from structured problem solving to the development of best practices.
- Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues for increasingly complex enterprise products.
- Actively participate in design & code reviews to build robust applications and features.
- Exhibit ownership and leadership skills required to become an indispensable part of the engineering team and culture
Desired Candidate Profile
- 3+ years of experience in developing applications in Python
- Excellent programming skills in Python Django.
- Proficient with Databases like PostgreSQL/MySQL.
- Experience in building scalable, highly critical software systems.
- Strong OOPS concepts, and ability to apply design patterns for a strong code base.
- Experience with working on highly interdependent and complex multi-services architecture.
- Experience in working on highly concurrent multithreaded applications with a keen eye on system performance and throughput.
- Good understanding of system performance trade-offs, load balancing, and engineering for high availability.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good understanding of data structures and algorithms and their space and time complexities.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate architectural details to stakeholders at different levels (executive, technical and non-technical) through UML diagrams, crisp documentation and white-boarding as required
