Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Sr. Data Engineer/Analyst to help us build and maintain the data architecture. Good knowledge in foundations, enabling data scientists to create new insights from data.

Responsibilities

• Good understanding of Developing, constructing and testing of architectures and processing workflows.
• Build efficient and robust data pipelines.
• Providing insights and Develop solutions for data acquisition.
• Ensure architecture supports business requirements.
• Develop dataset processes for data modelling, mining, and production.
• Drive the collection of new data and refinement of existing data sources.
• Providing solutions to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.

Desired Candidate Profile

Proven experience as a data engineer or analyst or similar role.

Understanding of data structures, data modelling and software architecture.

Familiar with data bases such as MySQL/Oracle/SQL.

Thorough knowledge and understanding of tools Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) or Any ETL tools (mandatory hands on experience in at least one tool)

Database knowledge in Apache Spark and Hadoop.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work in a team.

Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
