Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain interactive MIS dashboards, reports, and analysis templates using internal and external BI/Data visualization tools
- Drive strategic business decision making through detailed analytics, insights and Real-Time reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and financial results
- Use Data Visualization tool(s) such as Tableau to create innovative executive dashboards, scorecards, and weekly/monthly reports on the status of key business measurements
- Demonstrated ability to present and provide meaningful business insights from data, not just produce reports
- Identify areas for improvement, increased sales and cost optimization opportunities through various analysis, comparative analytics, statistical and data mining techniques
- Collect and analyze large data sets from internal systems
- Model data for ad hoc and pre-built reporting
- Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions interface with executive management, gathering requirements and delivering complete reporting solutions
- Define, retrieve, and analyze large datasets using Excel + SQL to drive and define operational solutions and approaches.
Experience
- MIS experience including designing and developing reports and dashboards with large data volumes
- Must have minimum 4 years’ experience in Financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or Business Analysis/Analytics and should possess good accounting acumen
- Experience in forecasting, analysis and comprehensive business reporting to provide accurate and insightful recommendations
- The ability to think strategically and implement methods to ensure procedures is completed at the highest standard
- Able to build solid internal and external relationships at all levels
- Must possess a client-service mindset and a desire to take on tough and challenging projects
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint a must
- Expert-level knowledge of using Tableau or similar Data visualization tools a big plus
- Very good exposure to accounting, financial reporting and BI tools
Qualification
- Requires 3- or 4-year degree in Commerce or Economics with MBA in Finance & Strategy or CA
