Wealth Management Technology
Wealth Management Technology is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Business. Practice areas include: Analytics, Intelligence, & Data Technology (AIDT), Client Platforms, Core Technology Services (CTS), Financial Advisor Platforms, Global Banking Technology (GBT), Investment Solutions Technology (IST), Institutional Wealth and Corporate Solutions Technology (IWCST), Technology Delivery Management (TDM), User Experience (UX), and the CAO team.

Job Profile

• Search/AI/NLP Technology team is a dynamic and fast-paced area within the Firm’s WM Technology Division.
• We are responsible for creating Search applications for Client/Account and Content search, powered by Apache SOLR and Lucidworks Fusion.
• Team uses cutting edge innovative Search/AI/NLP technology in building Search applications to support multiple business units like Wealth Management Financial Advisor Systems and Wealth Management Operations.
• We are looking for experienced Engineers with a solid understanding of both web development frameworks and backend API development.

Skill Set

• Design, develop, and maintain analytical dashboards, content management capabilities and search applications
• Design, develop, and maintain APIs used by Search Applications.
• Expert level coding skills in NodeJS and ReactJs.
• Hands-on experience in Core Java and/or Python. Scala is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in Apache Solr or Elastic is a plus.
• Experience in Lucidworks Fusion, or similar search framework, is a plus.
• Experience in Unix/Linux Shell Script is a plus.

Good to Have skills

• Good understanding of SQL, NoSQL, and Hadoop ecosystem.
• Experience and knowledge of ML/AI is a plus.
• Excellent Communication, Presentation skills, and Collaboration/Teamwork
